Mothers father Contender is one of the, if not the most successful progenitor of Holstein. Offspring of Contender is achieving on the highest international level in as well jumping (Checkmate, Montender, Conterno Grande) as dressage. Contender has a jump index of 149 and a dressage index of 120 points.
The mother of Sir Oldenburg, Greta Garbo descents from the Oldenburger dam line of Grunetta that has produced many state premium and Elite mares. Sport horses out of this dam line are for example: Rubillit (Grand Prix), Sattrick (S-dressur), Visconte Vuldai and the approved Grand Slam.
