Petersborg's Suleima - Sir Oldenburg

Petersborg's Suleima has with her owner and rider Morten Andersen been invited to the Danish Competion in June 2012 where horses are elected for the F.E.I. World Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden (Germany), 2012.

Petersborg's Suleima is in December 2009 sold to professional rider Morten Andersen. We wish Morten and Suleima good luck in the future.

An outstanding mare with excellent dressage potential! This must be our description of Suleima. She is a beautiful and eyecatching mare from 2006 out of a very interesting and competetive pedigree. Suleima has beautiful exterior and excellent gains. She is nice to handle and very attentive to her rider. She is lovely to ride and move with great balance, self-carriage and has very expressive gains. She has a nice energetic way about her and is very attentive and lovely to work with. We predict that Suleima will be an impressive dressagehorse and we look forward to follow her career.

Her Sire, Sir Oldenburg, is out of very consolidated German performance pedigree in both jumping and dressage. Sir Oldenburg himself has won the Bundeschampionship and is an excellent and impressive dressage horse. Sir Oldenburg is a stallion that meets perfection. He is beautifully modelled and produces long legged offsprings - when we chose Sir Oldeburg as a sire he had a dressage index of 144 points placing him among the 5% best stallions of Germany. His sire Sion is known for producing highly modern sport horses with selfcarriage and great looks that are hard to beat. Sion produced for example: Sterntaler Unicef, Saigon, Syrion and the successful jumper Solong. The dam line contains nothing less than Contender - perhaps one of the very most successful progenitor of Holstein. Offspring of Contender is achieving on the highest international level in both jumping and dressage. The mother of Sir Oldenburg, Greta Garbo descents from the Oldenburger dam line of Grunetta that has produced many state premium and Elite mares as well as excellent sport horses.

Suleima is half sister to De Luxe who won the young horse usage test last year and also participated in the DSA finals. She is also half sister to Seniorita who is a very elegant and excellent moving horse. Suleima has both the elite-stallions Midt-West Ibi-Light and Aleksander as grandsires.
