Petersborg - Kajana - Calypso II

Kajana is a 14-year old holsteiner mare importet from Germany for the purpose of breeding. Kajana is after Calypso II with Lakai as her grandsire. Kajana is an impressive mare with very nice expression and very good trot and canter. Her temperament is absolutely wonderful. She seems to pass on her nice front and wonderful expression and all of her off-springs has been very elegant and modern.

Kajana have had 5 offsprings here in Denmark. 3 stallionfoals where the first stallion Aristocrat (after Acobat II) was selected for Neumünster in 2002 and the third stallion Lancelot (after Lancer II) particpated at the stallionshow in Herning in 2004. Lancelot is today owned by the professional rider Michael Aabo in Germany. Kajana also had two lovely mare-foals after Limbus while she was in Denmark.

After we were lucky to get Kajana in our stable she had the following off-springs:

In 2007 we had the lovely up-hill stallionfoal Sambuca after Samarant. Sambuca has very nice movement and we look forward to present him this fall (2009) for the stallion selection in Danish Warmblood. See Sambuca here: Sambuca

In 2008 we were happy to get a wonderful mare foal from Kajana and Quaterback. Quickheart was all we wished for in a marefoal and we hope she will be our future breedingmare here at Petersborg. See Quickheart here: Quickheart

We were very satisfied with the result from Kajana/Quaterback so we decided to continue the succes and in 2009 Kajana delivered her perhaps most elegant and expressive stallionfoal. This foal has very good movement and is very well proportioned and with nice stallion-look. See our Qasanova here: Qasanova

We were unfortunately forced to put down Kajana in 2010.
